The summer has finally started here after a very gray and depressing spring. We were able to kick it off with a weekend away with some good friends of ours from growing up. This photo to me seemed like a good kick off for summer.

Extended Family
My mom's birthday was the other weekend and all of her sisters came along with my cousins and some close friends. I am not sure when the last time was that all of the aunts were together last and it gets me thinking of all of the extended family I have. Here is one photo of my cousin's adorable little boy. You would never think by looking at us that we were realted but I guess that is one thing that makes family so interesting.

A Burning Flame for Chengdu China
This last winter I was lucky enough to visit some family in Chengdu that I had never met before and I had posted some photos from my trip. Following the devastating earthquake I thought I would post just a few photos from my trip of one of the temples that I visited in the hopes to keep this tragedy in everyone’s minds and hearts and remind everyone that there are organizations out there that we can all help the people affected by this disaster. I personally have been supporting MercyCorps. China is a beautiful country with amazing people and culture and I am so thankful to have had the chance to visit when I did.

Montana - Unexpected
A few other photos from the trip out East. I thought that all of the oil pumps and tanks were very unexpected, they were all over the place. It is something I did not know Montana was known for or had a lot of. I thought these made for good color in the photos.
