I just posted about taking pictures in low light and was lucky enough to be at the Gnomedex conference today and they had a photographer Kris Krug come and talk about this very thing! Yay! Here are a few of his tips and tricks...
1.Turn up the ISO (I always thought that this would make your photo more grainy...so coming from a professional has made me want to try it out).
2. Increase the Apature (I love this! I bought a new lense last year after coming to Gnomedex for this very reason and it is one of may favorite lenses!)
3. Decrease your shutter speed (This is good if you have a tripod...the slower the shutter speed the more likely you might blur the photo).
4. Focus manually (I have never done this before...I will try it this weekend and post a test next week)
5. Play with your manual settings (I only shoot in manual...so that is when you turn the dial to "M" and can adjust the shutter speed and F stop...big fan of this).
6. Brace the camera (Use a tripod...I need to buy one).
So glad he talked about this! He is an awesome photographer.
